On the Good Friday, I woke up late. Hence, I missed the church service. In the afternoon, I went to Sentosa with a friend. Just wanting to relax myself, out of town, out of computers, HTML, and Java, and stuffs. It was pretty relaxing, and I am thinking of getting a Sentosa membership.
What wonderful happened in the evening. I went to watch "The Passion of Jesus Christ". As expected, as I have readed from a lot of sources, including Newsweek, that the torture scene is horrible. I didn't close my eyes, not wanting to skip any seconds on how the Son of God was tortured. Just like others, I was wondering how a man could bear such pain. Well, afterall, He is the Son of God. He is Jesus. I noticed that people inside the theatre screamed when Jesus' head was worn a wreath of thorns. The second was the hand nailing scene.
At the end of the show, out of curiosity, I still sat there for a while, wanted to watch the reactions of people. And there I saw an old western couple, sitting behind me on the other side of the room, were stunned. I know, deep down their heart, they love Jesus too. They wept, and hands was on the mouth. I felt the love of God still flowing. This is beautiful. Out of the hall, I saw around 6 of westerners, gathering in circle, and discussing the movie the just watched.
Another great day for me. The day I can enjoy love, and being loved.
